Inclusive IQ Assessment (TIIA)
The Inclusive IQ Assessment (TIIA) was designed to fill a gap in conventional testing by recognizing the nuanced expressions of intelligence in gifted and high-IQ neurodivergent individuals. Unlike traditional IQ tests that often emphasize speed, linguistic style, or narrow forms of logic, TIIA offers a more inclusive measure tailored for cognitively complex thinkers.
TIIA includes three primary sections: verbal reasoning, mathematical reasoning, and achievements. Achievements are considered as part of a holistic view of intelligence, recognizing that cognitive ability can also manifest through accomplishments and real-world application. The test is intended for individuals aged 14 and up and is available in a proctored, web-based format. While the test does calculate an IQ-equivalent score, it is not a clinical diagnostic tool. Instead, it provides a consultative evaluation of intellectual patterns, strengths, and potential cognitive domains.
Our approach considers asynchronous development, twice-exceptionality, and the reality that giftedness may manifest in atypical or culturally diverse ways. TIIA was developed to counter the limitations of conventional assessments, many of which do not account for life experiences, multilingualism, or nonconformity. The assessment is consultative; it provides a snapshot of your thinking profile, rather than defining your worth or future.
Key features of the TIIA include:
- 30 questions across three domains (verbal, mathematical, and achievement)
- Weighted scoring system that emphasizes depth over speed
- Results reviewed before delivery to ensure fair interpretation
- Optional short written interpretation of your cognitive strengths
- Proctored camera-based testing for validation and fairness
- Digital certificate for individuals scoring above 120
Clients are not required to complete the TIIA to receive consulting from IGC. We respect multiple pathways of identifying giftedness and do not use this tool to exclude or gatekeep. Rather, we offer it as a reflective resource for those seeking clarity about their thinking patterns and cognitive potential.
For professionals, organizations, or educators, TIIA offers a glimpse into the types of brilliance often overlooked in traditional systems. It is not just a test; it is a recognition of the ways intelligence can thrive when approached with nuance and respect.
The TIIA is currently offered in English, with select support for Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian. Results are sent directly to the IGC team for review and then delivered via secure email.
